The ING Finance Award recognized me as the top-performing student in my Finance 101 cohort at SMU, highlighting both consistency in my academic work and my ability to connect foundational concepts to real-world financial decisions. It reflects the effort I put into building a strong base in areas like time value of money, valuation, and risk, and it pushed me to keep raising my own standards in more advanced finance modules. This award is especially meaningful to me because it came early in my degree and confirmed that I was on the right track in choosing finance as my focus.
